what is a fl!pped classroom?

I teach my Math 8 classes using the flipped classroom model.  Watch the video clip for a brief explanation of this teaching style.  In short, the student receives the instruction at home at his/her own pace and then practices and extends the concepts with his/her peers and me in the classroom.
